Description
Sit back and relax--we'll do the diving and the cooking at this abalone dinner for 6. A CSB grandpa, Larry Ankuda, is an avid diver who will provide two freshly caught, approx. 1-pound each, abalone from Mendocino.
Then the Pola, MacDermid and Hanson/Ferguson families will cook a complete abalone dinner for 6 guests at your San Francisco house and provide three bottles of seafood-appropriate wine.
You can't buy this in a restaurant! Get ready to feast on a rare delicacy.
Special Instructions
Abalone season is April-November (excluding July), so we will plan the dinner in those months. Note that catching the abalone isn't guaranteed, so we may need some flexibility. Dinner is good for 6 people and the purchaser must be a CSB family. Expires November 15, 2009.
