A delightfully richly coloured, burnished gold. The nose is quite fine showing oranges with a woody, oaky note in the background, with good botrytis character. The palate is unexpectedly rounded and harmonious, showing a fat and grippy and creamy style, but with an appropriate acidity that seems a little more firm than when I last tasted, which is no bad thing. Delightfully vibrant and interesting, with a meaty, savoury finish and plenty of character.
