"The Best Place on Earth" is a culmination of individual painted sections of the state of California that represent a special place to each first grade boy. From snow-capped mountains to wind blown deserts (and a few animated light saber-slinging characters in-between) this bright painting explores memories of past trips as well as lessons learned with Kate and Noah.
Following a lesson on the different geographical elements of California each first grader created a section of the state with colorful paints while collaborating together on the water and land that surround our state.
