Effective communication is paramount to one's success in this world. Since 1982, Greater Atlanta Speech and Language Clinics, Inc. (GASLC) have enhanced the lives of individuals in Metropolitan Atlanta by offering comprehensive therapeutic programs in speech-language pathology.  Ms. Elkan, M.A., CCC, joined GASLC as a speech-language pathologist in 1990, became the Assistant Director in 1991 and the Clinical Director in 2001.

All GASLC's speech pathologists hold master's degrees in speech-language pathology, are licensed by the Georgia Board of Examiners for Speech Pathologists and Audiologists, and have Certificates of Clinical Competence (CCC) awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (www.ASHA.org).  Our therapists are experienced in working with a wide variety of populations including cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, apraxia, PDD, ADD, and with all age groups. Each staff member is dedicated to quality client care, strives to help clients reach their maximum potential, and has a true understanding of how their difficulties may impact the family.
