Description

This highly regarded summer camp is a ministry of the American Baptist Churches of Rhode Island (ABCORI). It’s namesake, Canonicus, was a Sachem of the Narragansett Tribe at the time of Roger Williams – a man dedicated to peace. In 1638, Canonicus and his brother, Miantonomi, gave Roger Williams a large tract of land which included what is now all of Providence and beyond. And so this Camp is located on very historic land!

Since 1948, this Camp has been providing wonderful experiences for thousands of children as they enjoy the affirmation of their faith along with pure summer fun such as swimming, hiking, boating, arts & crafts, archery, etc…not to mention a “Fishing Derby” and “Squirrel Day!”

The Camp accommodates children from 4 years to 16 years in both Day and Overnight camping experiences. This item will provide one week of either Day Camp or Overnight Camp. Please click on the website link below for more information.
