Through the generosity and hard work of the students, staff and parents of the The Bridge: A Monressori Academy, we can offer a beautiful quilt for you to enjoy!

The students of The Bridge have been studying the environment, endangered animals and recycling. The teachers have also emphasized the need for all of us to "give back to the community."   

The Bridge community--students, parents and staff--devised a wonderful way to bring all of those concepts together. The students contributed 13 sweaters after which the staff and the parents cut them apart and created a beautiful patchwork quilt with the squares! They then donated the quilt to our Zoo so that it could help to raise money for the animals.

The quilt measures 5' x 5,' with each square measuring 12" x 12." The colors are lovely and muted and the warmth of this quilt will be gratefully appreciated on a cold winter's night--or at a football game next fall!
