The second in "The Twelve Days of Christmas" series of original Steinbach nutcrackers designed for KSA Collectibles in Germany, this piece stands 18" high and features a hand-carved figure of Santa holding four calling birds in his left hand and three French hens in his right. Two turtle doves rest in a sprig of holly in his cap. He carries a songbook entitled "The Twelve Days of Christmas" and a "bird cage" which is actually a music box that plays "The Twelve Days of Christmas".
