Inspired by Matisse's "paper cuts" of the early 20th century, the 6th graders tore and cut black and white paper, producing graphic, collaged compositions on 9X12" paper. The individual works were then scanned printed and grouped by class into two 28" square framed works. Special thanks to Suzanne Turpin & Kathy Allison.
