The Certified Lodging Owner (CLO) program recognizes and certifies the expertise of hotel owners.  The program offers a comprehensive approach to validating the knowledge pertaining to hotel ownership, and it provides strategies for

• maximizing assets,
• developing effective, timely, and realistic operating budgets,
• differentiating challenges and opportunities, and
• increasing and improving leadership and management skills.
 
Once certified, the CLO designation may be used on letterhead, business cards, and other correspondence. Lapel pins and certificates are visible symbols of one’s status and achievement.

Includes application and study materials. Individual must currently own at least one hotel/lodging property.
