Description

This stunning Polar Bear is part of a series of photographs taken at Deyrolle in PAris, the oldest existing taxidermy business in Europe.  It is housed in a fine 17th-century Hotel Particulier.  William Curtis Rolf was allowed to move the large specimens about as he wished to compose his photographs and made four visits to Deyrolle in July 2005.  On February 1, 2008, Deyrolle was ravaged by fire and the animals shown were destroyed.  The photgraphs are now categorically unique and can never be re-staged.  Voila! has the exclusive rights to these images.

Special Instructions

The photo comes with a certificate of authenticity, William Curtis Rolf, photographer.

The photograph is 17"X22" and is framed in a white wooden frame and white matting.
