Don’t miss out on this event which will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2009.  For $200 you and a guest can participate in this unique opportunity to be grouped into several teams in a crazy, adventure-filled competition to find a list of silly, wild and zany objects!  Teams of 6 or 8 square off in search of approximately 25 items and the search might range as far a field as Scarborough and all the way to Woolwich!  A team of “esteemed judges”) dole out (or might just as easily take away!) points to each team based on a set of tricky rules and a clever list of what does and does not qualify as a legitimate item!  The mad dash during a timed search provides excitement of it’s own during an afternoon of fun-filled, friendly competition but the fun doesn’t end when the time runs out.   Prepare for an equally fun evening following the outrageously fun afternoon.  The Great Casco Bay Scavenger Hunt starts at NYA in Safford and ends with dinner, cocktails, “judgment from the bench” and an awards ceremony at the Reed’s Lodge in Woolwich.  You won’t want to miss the fun of the hunt, the new friendships formed, the friendly competition or the fabulous dinner!  Only the first 20 buyers will be included.
