Sweet, ripe-cherry fruitiness combines with distinct elements of milk chocolate and more subtle touches of rooty spice in the wide-open aromas and very accessible flavors of this substantial, moderately full-bodied Cabernet. The wine is fashioned in a slightly softer, modestly tannic style that invites early drinking, but its comparatively friendly manner does not mean that it lacks for richness and real depth, and it will match up nicely over the next four or five years with flavorful braised meat dishes.
