The Captain's Reserve collection is exclusive to our Tasting Room, Online Store and Wine Club; you will not find it anywhere else! Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2005 Captain's Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon represents the Rubicon Estate style of winemaking. The wine is filled with sweet black currant aromas that are twisted with French vanilla notes. The palate is layered with plush currant flavors, hints of anise and sweet fine tannins. As a result of sixteen months of French oak barrel aging, the finish is soft and succulent.
