These heavy bookends are as practical as they are handsome. Sculpted by a contemporary artist, they were cast in solid brass using the lost-wax method. The animals were given a hand-applied antique patina to bring out their wonderful details and varied surface textures. The bases have a dark-green patina that contrasts richly with the bronze coloring of the animals.
