Ms. Grinerva is a world renowned artist known locally for her Manhattan cityscapes.   Sonia was educated at Moscow's leading art school the Stroganov Art Institute as well as the National Academy of design in Manhattan where her excellence lead to a coveted scholarship at the British Institute in Florence.

Sonia has travelled extensively and works quickly in the tradition of many "plein air" artists.  Her paintings of the ports, waterways and rivers of Venice, La Rochelle, Monte Carlo, Dieppe, and Prague are quite impressive.

Ms Grinerva is adept in a variety of mediums including sculpture and printmaking.  Her work has shown in galleries in New York, New England, Washington and Georgia and is part of numerous private, public and museum collections.  Sonia's art studio is at the historic Pen and Brush Club in New York City.
