Famed Chef, noted founder of California Cuisine and a leader in the “Slow Food” Movement, Alice Waters will speak about her inspirational experiences in bringing sustainable gardens to schoolyards at the Aero Theatre on Montana Avenue in Santa Monica on May, 19th at 7:00pm.  Waters will be joined by 15 year-old protégé Sam Levin, who founded an acclaimed sustainable garden for his public school district in Western Massachusetts.  This event, which will include a Waters book signing, multi-media presentation, lecture and discussion, is to benefit Canyon Charter Elementary School.
