Lasers are a wonderful way to remove hair because they are fast, effective and have no recovery time whatsoever after the procedure. Hair removal/reduction lasers reduce the hair in size or thickness as well as lighten the color of the hair. Typically, one can expect to have 4-6 treatments to get the necessary reduction in size and color such that it appears that no hair is actually present. Once clearance is achieved, it is recommended to have annual or semi-annual follow-up laser treatments to maintain this optimum result.
