Remember those paint-by-number kits you did when you were a kid? Well, imagine one four-and-a-half feet square. That's pretty big. But instead of flowers or a lighthouse or a horse or landscape, the subject is a John Lennon. 

How Does It Work?

We come with paints, brushes, smocks, everything. The portrait is a stretched artist's canvas measuring  50" x 50". The subject is outlined in light blue lines with little blue numbers designating what color paint to use...just like those kits you remember. Then the canvas is divided into a grid of squares; five rows of five. In general, it takes about four hours to complete a painting. The acrylic paints dry in about an hour.
