Dick Butkus possessed a desire to excel on the football field that few have ever equaled. He played as the Chicago Bears' middle linebacker for nine years and was recognized as one of the best of all time with his induction into the NFL Hall of Fame in 1979.
Today, Mr. Butkus is deeply committed in supporting charitable causes through the Butkus Foundation, Inc. (www.butkusfoundation.org). Currently, Mr. Butkus is focusing much of his energy tackling the issue of steroids among high school athletes through this national grassroots campaign.
