This item includes an opportunity to visit St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital of Tampa with MLB Umpires and two tickets to a Tampa Bay Rays baseball game.
The BLUE for Kids program brings a crew of MLB umpires to the bedside of children with life-threatening illnesses. And they don’t come empty-handed. Each crew brings a Build-A-Bear Workshop®...right to the hospital room! Click for more about BLUE for Kids Program
As the winning bidder, you help lift the spirits of children coping with a stay in the hospital. You'll assist the umpires to provide each child a pre-stuffed animal along with a choice of stuffed-animal sized outfits (e.g., Rays baseball player, pirate, cheerleader, hula dancer). As with past visits, "Raymond" the Tampa Bay Rays mascot, will be invited to attend.
