Lidia's Kansas city
101 W. 22nd
Kansas City MO

Voted Kansas City's most popular Italian restaurant by Zagat Guide 2005, Lidia's Kansas City is located in the Crossroads Arts District.

Lidia Bastianich, regarded as the first lady of Italian cuisine, opened Lidia's Kansas City together with her son, Joseph Bastianich, in a former railroad house just north of Kansas City's historic Union Station. Designed by acclaimed New York architect David Rockwell, the restaurant evokes the feel of an Italian farmhouse despite its tremendous size.

The menu at Lidia's features a daily sampling of seasonal, daily-made fresh and filled pastas. The 'pasta trio' is served tableside and may be refilled as often as you like. Diners can also choose entrees such as roasted veal shank in a rich sauce served with risotto, chicken breasts lightly sauteed with lemon, capers, Sicilian olives and garlic, or a beautiful grilled salmon served over braised lentils.

Lidia's is open for lunch Monday through Friday but offers a unique Market Brunch on Saturday and Sunday. The brunch is a 3 course prix fixe meal beginning with a hearty antipasti buffet, featuring the freshest vegetables and fruits from Kansas City's farmer's market. Guests may then choose an entree from the full menu, and finish with a visit to Lidia's dessert buffet.

Lidia's is proud to offer two wine lists featuring Italy's finest creations. The value list features over 40 wines for $25.00 a bottle. The reserve wine list includes white, red, and rose wines from all of Italy's regions, with opportunites to try award winning and rare Italian vintages
