Tickets for 6 people for an upcoming show or a certificate to be used toward the cost of tickets to a birthday party in the Story Pirates theater.
If you're new to The Story Pirates, here's how it works: Send the Pirates a story written by your nursery school aged child (you can help write it down). The story can be any length and about any topic. Select a date and invite your friends to watch as the troop of professional actors and comedians performs an adaptation of the story in one of the weekly Saturday shows. Your child will be the featured author of the day and treated like a celebrity.
Being the featured author is a big honor. On top of having his or her story performed in front of an audience of friends and fans, your child will have the opportunity to have a picture taken and placed on the Author Wall of Fame. The featured author will be given a t-shirt, the Story Pirates double disc Greatest Hits CD, a poster signed by the cast, and a Certificate of Achievement, all taking place in an on-stage ceremony conducted by puppets.
Special Instructions
The Story Pirates perform in Manhattan throughout the school year each Saturday at 2 PM and at select performances over the summer. The voucher is good through September 30th, 2009 and is subject to availability. The Company needs at least one and a half months to plan and rehearse.
