Since 1947, The Little Orchestra Society has presented children's concerts that are age-appropriate and specially written to engage children, involve them in the performance and introduce them to musical concepts.

Lolli-Pops concerts serve as a child's first introduction to classical music. The perfomance is led by Mr. Maestro and four animal characters named Bang, Buzz, Toot and Bow representing the four families of the orchestra.

During the Happy Concerts for Young People, youngsters listen to music and grasp its meaning and poetry with the first concerts in New York specifically created for children.
