For over 20 years, Crestwood artist Sonny Whittle has created a piece of artwork for the Kentucky Derby Festival Official Poster Series. This 1992 depiction is richly framed. Louisville is a very "art-aware" city; the Festival poster seems to heighten that interest even in people without a real passion for original art.
