“Chief's new Thinstall Series Fixed and Tilt Wall Mounts are designed to complement the low profile of the new ultra-thin flat panel TVs. The fixed mount collapses to less than 0.4", and the tilt mount collapses to 0.75" while offering 12° of fingertip tilt.”

Flat mount is only adds .4” to the distance off the wall, so the TV is under 2” off the wall, tilt mount adds .75” bringing the TV to 2.25” off the wall.
