3D Magnetic Resonance Brain Images

This is your Brain on Music!

The musical and medical experts at the Music and Neuroimaging Laboratory at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School (http://www.musicianbrain.com) invite you to actually see what your brain looks like as you listen to music, or think about music.

We will acquire three-dimensional brain images of you or a loved one, and will provide an explanation of the structure and function of your brain. You must be neurologically healthy and have no metal in the body (no pacemakers, aneurysm clips, or dental braces; but dental fillings are acceptable.)

One set of anatomical, T1-weighted images of a neurologically normal adult human, acquired in the 3-Tesla Magnetic Resonance Imaging facility at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
