Lecture on Mark Twain's Huck Finn

Item Number: 231
Time Left: CLOSED
Description
In the heart of Huckleberry Finn, two chapters seem peculiarly situated and unrelated; whatever Twain did (or didn't) have in mind when he wrote, it is nonetheless possible to view these chapters at levels that go beyond their social commentary to considerations of the use of art and drama as defenses against the worst of human impulses.
Special Instructions
To be given at Nobles in Shattuck 201 on an evening date mutually convenient to all. Minimum 4 attendees.
