Spend 3 nights this spring/summer/fall at our rustic 2 bedroom cabin on a private ½ acre wooded lot in Arnold, Calif. It is perfect for a long weekend away (with or without the children). You will also have access to the Blue Lake Springs recreation center which has a pool, 2 swimming lakes, golf, and many activities for the children (there is a $25/day fee to enter the facility). The cabin has 2 bedrooms (with queen beds) and a loft upstairs that has 3 twin beds and 1 double bed.  There is satellite TV, full size fridge, gas grill on the deck…and a very touchy range!  The cabin is not considered to be toddler-proof - interior stairs are steep and the deck is on a hillside.  Subject to availability, but most weekends are open (this is not a rental).     

You will be 5 minutes from Calaveras Big Trees State Park, 30 minutes from Bear Valley Ski Resort & Alpine Lake, 20 minutes to Stanislaus National Forest, and just 15 minutes from historic towns of Murphy's (which has a several wine tasting rooms and a day spa or two) and Angels Camp. Its location is perfect for a quiet weekend get-a-way.  At 4,200 feet in elevation you have access to swimming and all water sports, biking, fishing, wine tasting, kayaking, caving, and so much more.
