Description

One official San Jose Sharks puck hand-signed by two great players that are a big reason for the Sharks dominance in 2008/09. Center Patrick Marleau was the San Jose Sharks 1st pick in the 1997 NHL Draft and the 2nd pick overall. A gifted forward, Marleau is an excellent passer and finisher. And in 2003/2004, Patrick became an All-Star for the first time representing the Sharks in the 2004 All-Star Game. An All-Star again in 2006/07, Marleau has emerged as one of the bright stars of the NHL and has been Captain, and a fan favorite, of the Sharks for the last several seasons. Forward Jeremy Roenick, a native of Boston, MA, is a nine-time NHL All-Star. Finishing his career with the San Jose Sharks, Jeremy made his NHL debut on October 6, 1988 with the Chicago Blackhawks. On November 10, 2007, while playing for the Sharks, Jeremy made US hockey history by becoming only the 3rd American in history to score 500 career NHL goals. On January 10, 2008, Roenick's 503rd goal vs. the Vancouver Canucks placed him 2nd on the list of all-time American-born NHL career goals, trailing only Mike Modano of the Dallas Stars. This official San Jose Sharks puck is signed by BOTH Patrick and Jeremy at their Sports Gallery signings. You won't find this dual-signed puck anywhere else.
