Each 8^th grade student has designed their own HAND SEWN state flower, the Orange Poppy with a yellow center, onto an individual square of material.  Miss Tomaino then JOYFULLY assembled the squares into the shape of a cross.  This fabulous creation can either be used as a “Wall Hanging” or and actual “Bed” quilt.
