Brothers Brian and Mark Boyer have spent most of their working life in the pizza industry. "Pizza is something we know and understand," stated Brian. "We thought it was time to open our own pizza franchise and put our pizza knowledge to good use."

The brothers discovered Pizza World, a franchise based in St. Louis, MO. Although known throughout the country, this West Bloomfield pizzeria is the only Pizza World location in Michigan. Pizza World offers a lunch pizza buffet Monday through Friday 11 AM - 2 PM. In addition to traditional pizzas and their 17 gourmet pizzas, the Pizza World menu has a full selection of appetizers, salads, Calzones, oven baked subs and dessert. Their signature pizza is the Appondanza which is piled high with 12 Toppings! Mozzarella, pepperoni, ground beef, Canadian bacon, bacon, Italian sausage, pork sausage, salami, mushrooms, black olives, tomatoes, green peppers & red onions.

"We have 34 different toppings available for your pizza as well as whole wheat dough," said Boyer. "We make all our dough fresh daily including our sub buns."

Other gourmet pizzas include a California Spin-Dip which features a blend of Alfredo sauce, spinach, artichoke hearts & fresh garlic topped with mozzarella and a special Pizza World spice mix. The Via Bianco is covered with an olive oil glaze and topped with provolone, mozzarella, Swiss, fresh basil & oregano. All ingredients are fresh and prepared at the store daily.

"We had noticed that there wasn't anything else like Pizza World in the area," observed Brian, “and thought this would be a perfect location."
