After sitting in endless traffic, noticing the flotsam and jetsam of signage in our community.  Mr. F thought to infiltrate the potpourri of visual selling with a little whimsy.

His creation of icon out of a simple duck, or here, a dachshund though nonsensical, remains transcendent.  He first spray painted them on wood and posted them publicly for all to enjoy and the brave to take home.  Approached for more formal works, the images were reproduced on multilayered Lucite, to great effect.  "Choices" is an example of that experimental pursuit.  This piece was part of a showing at the AKA Lounge in August 2008.
