Description
Bruce Bochy is the manager of the San Francisco Giants. Prior to joining the Giants team in 2006, he was the manager of the San Diego Padres for the previous twelve years. As Padres manager, he took the team to the postseason five times and once to the World Series against the Yankees in 1998.
As a player, Bochy was with the Mets, Padres, and Astros. He played in the 1984 world series. Perhaps his most memorable moment was being the catcher when Pete Rose hit his record breaking 4,192 hit.
