Description

Eli Manning, quarterback of the New York Giants, has improved his game each year since joining the team in 2004, building to a remarkable 2007 season that saw Big Blue earn a wild card spot in the NFL playoffs with a 11-5 record and shake off underdog status to defeat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers in the playoffs. Top cap that off,  on February 3, 2008, Manning and the Giants shocked with the world with a 17-14 victory over the previously undefeated New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLII. With “ice in his veins,” as one teammate put it, Manning went 19-34 with 255 yards and threw two clutch touchdowns, earning him Super Bowl XLII MVP honors. Eli Manning has hand-signed this 8x10 photograph of him escaping a tackle (the great escape). He would then threw the ball to David Tyree, who made a catch against his head to complete the most famous play in Super Bowl history. Photograph comes professionally double-matted and framed and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
