This is the second issue in Lena Liu’s Basket Bouquets collection, a series of limited-edition plates that capture the beauty of nature’s flowers. Created from an original work of art painted on silk by renowned artist Lena Liu. This plate is entitled “Pansies” and it features sunny yellow, soft whites, sky blues, pink and crimson - beautiful pansies peek in all directions, with a distinctive burst of dark color in the center of each flower. Displayed in an antique basket, set against the tiny purple and white flowers of the fragrant lilacs, the fuller pansy blossoms stand out from the bouquet. Long retired and limited to a maximum of 150 firing days this particular plate is marked 17512A. Crafted in fine porcelain, this plate has been hand signed in gold pen by the artist.
