A mischievous lizard curls himself around this hand-thrown vase by Ed and Laura Klein of Bur Oak Pottery. Inspired by the Martin Brothers pottery of late nineteenth century England, Ed and Laura throw and sculpt vessels adorned with comical, grotesque creatures with distinct personalities. This wood-fired piece has an ash glaze of rich, espresso browns and warm tans with a glossy finish.
