Description

Have you ever heard the phrase “having all of your ducks in a row?”  Well, in this handmade Chesapeake Bay themed chess set, we really do have all of our ducks in a row – as pawns that is!  Bay animals such as the Great Blue Heron and the Maryland Terrapin pose as king and queen, while blue crabs, jellyfish, rockfish, and ducks complete the set.  Made of air dry clay, the pieces are still in the process of being formed, and will be painted with blue and green acrylic paint to match the colors of their hand painted wooden board (still to be made).  The set comes with an illustrated key explaining which animals represent which chess pieces.  22” x 22” board.
