Henrietta Milan was born in Woodstock, Illinois. She has been passionate about painting for over forty years. Milan received her education at DePaul University and the University of Texas. Her extensive travels have taken her all over Europe where she had the opportunity to see the works of some of the great impressionist. During Milan's artistic career she has learned to master the technique of using the palette knife. It has been said that her paintings capture the very essentials of impressionism.
