Bass Fishing Excursion

Item Number: 408
Time Left: CLOSED

Description
You and a friend can join bass fisherman Guthrie Mitchell for a day of fishing on a float down the Susquehanna River from Tunkhannock to Falls. Learn to fish from an extremely durable river boat while you meander through the Endless Mountains and enjoy some of Pennsylvania's most spectacular scenery. Lunch, equipment, and cigars will be provided. (Experienced fishermen invited to bid as well.)
The Susquehanna River is the nation's sixteenth largest river. The river has its origin at Otsego Lake near Cooperstown, N.Y. From there it flows 444 miles until it empties into the Chesapeake Bay. On its way, the river takes a gentle glide through some of the most beautiful land in Pennsylvania.
The Susquehanna River is well known for its smallmouth bass and walleye fishing. It does however have a very big population of catfish and panfish. Tiger muskellunge and northern pike are also very plentiful here as well.
