J. Wayne Bystrom excels in the medium of oils as evidenced by a series of successful exhibitions in prominent art galleries located in Philadelphia, Wilmington, Washington, D.C., and New York. He has exhibited in such eminent art institutions as the National Academy of Design, the Philadelphia Art Alliance, the Philadelphia Art Museum Gallery, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and is the permanent collection of the INA Maritime Museum. Wayne has many sold-out limited edition prints, and his original oils have steadily increased in value. Over the last five years, he has contributed a great deal of time and artwork for worthwhile causes to benefit Philadelphia's homeless.
