With the use of muted oil colors, Ann Parkhurst accurately captures the calm mood that blankets back campus during the fall trimester.


Ann Parkhurst, originally from the Philadelphia area, is a retired school teacher. She is regionally known artist who  attended the Philadelphia Academy for Fine Arts and is a graduate of the University of Arizona. She is the former owner of the Bay Window Shoppes in Shavertown, Pennsylvania. 


In addition to decorating furniture, she devotes much of her time to collecting antiques. Ann has won numerous awards for her work over the years, including several first place awards in Northeastern Pennsylvania juried art exhibits.


Ann is a member of the  the Pocono Mountain Art Council and is also a Wyoming Seminary past parent and grandmother to three current Sem students. Her work can be found in homes and galleries throughout Northeastern Pa.
