Description

There is a landmark in Berwick called Hillcrest, a house built in 1902. The home is owned by the Crispin family - current Sem parents - and they have offered to prepare a five-course dinner for six people at this extraordinary house. The dinner will be served on an assortment of antique china and crystal, and several wines will be paired with what is being served. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be served while the first floor of the house is being toured. The home features intricately carved woodwork and an extensive collection of antiques, some of which date to the mid-18th century. There's also a large collection of antique European porcelain from 18th century onward. The owner's ancestors didn't like to have to eat on the same china more than one week per year! It is a home in the grand tradition of the turn of the century.
