Regina Holan, a Bay Area native, has agreed to hold a 2 hour Soccer Clinic for the winning bidder. "A graduate of Cal Berkeley, Regina had an outstanding collegiate playing career at the University of Portland and Cal where she was described as the most dangerous striker in the collegiate game achieving Freshman All- American and All N.C.A.A.-Tournament honors. She also received N.C.A.A. and Parade All-American accolades and was chosen to represent Greece in the 2004 Olympics. Regina played professionally and semi-professionally for Sparta Praha in Europe, as well as a number of teams in the United States. As a youth player Regina played on both the Under 16 and 21 USA National teams and is a Regional and State team veteran. Regina is currently coaching with the ACC Maveriks club in Berkeley where she enjoys developing collegiate bound players. She has been a member of the World Soccer coaching staff since 1996 and enjoys keeping in touch with her closest friends and former national under 16 club champions teammates Jenny "Pooh" Medina, Lorrie Fair formerly of UNC & U.S.A. women's team and her twin sister Ronnie, formerly of Stanford University & WUSA as well as her own sister Martina Franco who recently won the W-League title with the Vancouver Whitecaps where she led the team in points. Martina played for Canada last summer at the Beijing Olympics."
