SPQR is a neighborhood restaurant inspired by the typical Roman osteria. SPQR stands for Senatus Populesque Romanus which means the people and senate of Rome in Latin. SPQR is to this present day the insignia of the city of Rome and can be found on monuments and public works. As in typical Roman osterias, we offer simple, rustic, satisfying food using the best local ingredients, honoring the whole animal, making all pasta in house, and embracing the wonders of the fryer. Our wine list offers wines from all of Italy with an emphasis on small producers with a flexible option of three-ounce tastings, glasses, and half carafes.
