Lou Holtz, back in 1986, decided that his Notre Dame football players needed a bit of inspiration as they took to the field. So, borrowing a slogan from his friend, coach Gerry Faust, Holtz had a sign crafted that read, "Play Like a Champion Today." The sign, bright gold with dark blue lettering, was positioned above a stairway outside the Notre Dame locker room and soon a tradition emerged- players tapped the sign for luck on the way to the field. This poster, measuring 20" x 30" is an exact replica of that famous sign. Brady Quinn, who quarterbacked the Fighting Irish from 2003-2006, has hand signed this poster and added his uniform number, 10. A CG Authentics Certificate of Authenticity is included.
