Scottsdale Education Center was founded in 2000 by two teachers. The continuing mission of the company is to provide individualized, quality tutoring instruction to students with academic needs outside of school hours. This mission is accomplished in small group settings in which certified teachers guide, direct, and tutor students.

Subject areas tutored range from basic math and language studies to all sciences, foreign languages, keyboarding, and organizational/study skills. Special preparatory classes are also offered for AIMS, SAT/ACT, GED, and various high school entrance exams.

Students being tutored at Scottsdale Education Center will find a challenging curriculum presented by tutors who not only teach, but mentor students as well.

SEC tutors strive to see that every student receives proper tutoring resulting in \mastery of concepts and enhanced self-confidence. It is only when students feel secure and confident in challenging subjects that they can truly learn to become successful, independent learners, and this is the main goal accomplished at Scottsdale Education Center.
