Custom Design and Production
Magic happens in the back room.
We can create new jewelry using your diamonds or gemstones and gold or platinum or use our own materials. We can also take your old, rarely worn jewelry and use it to create a new piece you will be proud to wear every day. What is important to us is to create a beautiful piece of custom platinum, gold, or silver jewelry that will delight you for many years.
Whether you are looking for an unusual piece of jewelry, have an idea for something different and spectacular or need a wedding band to match the intricate shape of an engagement ring, then custom design is for you.
Keep in mind that custom creations are not limited to totally new pieces. You can also update or completely redesign aging jewelry, too.
We start by sitting down with you to listen to what you’re interested in having made. We take, and give, as much input as you want and get to know your personal taste, your style, your likes and dislikes. We use your sketches or create sketches using our computer aided design jewelry software. We work together as much, or as little, as you want to start the creative process.
Depending on the design, the model will be either carved from a block of wax by our goldsmith, cut by a computer aided milling machine or hand fabricated. You are invited to the store to see and approve the wax, or prototype and the stones chosen for the piece. Of course, the entire process can be completed long distance using email.
The wax is cast in gold or platinum, polished and shown to you one more time before the gems are set in place. The evolution of your unique piece is in your complete control throughout because everything is done in house.

3D Computer Aided Design - Precise & Realistic
Using sophisticated, but easy to use, design software, we first create a 2D model of the custom designed jewelry piece. These models are used to create strikingly realistic renderings of the piece, allowing you to verify the design’s accuracy with confidence.

Computer Rendering - Capturing Your Ideas
Jewelry design can be somewhat complicated to visualize without a picture so we consider our design rendering critical to the process. You can review the design with confidence and gain a realistic impression of your finished piece. Any desired changes may be discussed and implemented to your complete satisfaction.
Wax Prototype - Highest Resolution Standards
Once the rendering of your custom designed jewelry has been approved, the wax is carved or milled and shown to you for approval. We can easily make further changes at this point is something doesn’t look quite right or the creative process expands. A mold is then created from the wax prototype. The desired precious metal is injected into the mold to create a jewelry casting.
Final Assembly - Beauty and Quality Craftsmanship
The final step involves the art and skill of craftsmanship. Our master goldsmith prepares the casting for parts and assembly. Precious gems and/or diamonds to be used in the piece of custom handcrafted jewelry are carefully mounted.
The jeweler next brings the piece of custom made jewelry to a bright polish before final inspection.
