These two beautiful rain barrels are recycled 55 gallon plastic barrels.  The playful, vibrant designs painted by the Redwood Room students will enliven your garden and enable you to use the rain water collected by your home's gutters.  A pre-installed spigot in each barrel will allow easy access to the rainwater; you can hook up a hose to the spigot or fill a watering can.  Your downspouts will go directly into the top of each barrel, with screening to prevent debris and insects from entering.  Provided overflow tubing will ensure that any excess water drains safely away from the house.  Concrete bricks are included to provide stable, slightly raised, footing for the barrels.  The barrels will be delivered to the winning bidder's home at his/her convenience.  Installation to be done by the winning bidder.
