Description
The Larch room this year has created a large, beautiful map of our beloved state. This map shows one of our most gorgeous and useful natural resources, forests. Each color represents a different type of forest based on the dominant specie of tree in that area. The children have created this map using colored wool, felting needles, and many hours of intensive labor wet felting the final product. The end product is a gorgeous, strong piece of felt, not unlike those make for thousands of years in Europe, Asia, and South America. This can be used as a rug but may be more suitable as a wall hanging to show off its beauty.
