Description
The Toddler Community enjoys gathering and sharing everyday. For the auction, there was a desire to create a sacred place for your child to invite others to gather and share. A tee-pee offers the perfect place for a powwow. It also can be a learning platform for a child to explore the symbolism of the dwelling from the wealth of history in the Native American culture. The toddlers enjoyed expressing themselves painting on the canvas. Look carefully for footprints, tippy toes, hand prints, splashes and swirls all creating a unique place. These spacious (80" high and 72" wide) canvas tee-pees were sewn together by a dedicated and talented team of grandmother Cheryl Kondo and great aunt Karen Haines. Thank you for your help! These tee-pees are collapsible and can easily be put away when the dreaming is done. Included is a Pendleton Beaver State Indian wool blanket, 32"x44" (thank you to Cary Benz).
